Containerized “energy & water” solutions with solar energy

Eco-source Solution Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets containerized solutions from Canada for various applications in all countries and markets. The available models and concepts for these solutions include:
CPVs for electrical power generation, supplying facility loads autonomously and uninterruptedly, for water pumping and treatment, such as cold rooms for preserving food, medicine, etc., using photovoltaic solar energy integrated in an ergonomic and robust manner.

Inverters, batteries, electrical protection devices, and the necessary components are located on and inside a marine container. Pages 4, 6, and 8.
CPV-S for uninterrupted energy storage and supply, or as emergency backup, based on the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) principle. In this case, the solution uses a photovoltaic system as a power source separate from the container, but connected to it. Page 5.

CPV-W for the production of electrical energy and to supply facility loads autonomously and uninterruptedly. These solutions integrate photovoltaic modules and a tower with a wind turbine. It is a highly reliable hybrid solution for sites with good wind potential. Page 9.

These solutions are based on Éco-source Solution’s own concepts and designs, drawing on over 10 years of experience in the Canadian market and over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and renewable energy sources. Its most valued asset: a highly experienced, motivated team passionate about innovation. The potential uses of these solutions for energy and food self-sufficiency can primarily be as follows:
■ Farms
■ Mini-industries and factories
■ Agroecological industry
■ Urban and rural hospitals and clinics
■ Hotels
■ Shops and restaurants
■ Pumping and irrigation systems
■ Sawmills and carpentry
■ Construction site electricity supply installations
■ Campsites and leisure centers
■ Festivals and public events
■ Electrification of communities isolated from the grid, creating an electrical microgrid powered by the solution
■ Cold or frozen preservation of food or pharmaceutical products
■ Telecommunications

Manufacturing and export

Once the solution is manufactured, it is tested according to a rigorous testing procedure, then the PV modules and heavier components inside are disassembled and properly placed inside the container. The system is transported by road and sea. Upon arrival at the installation site, the modules and their support structures are installed on the container, and the internal components are reassembled into position, and the system is ready for operation.
For its design and manufacture, international standards from ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) are used, and the components used, as required, can be certified by CSA, UL, EU, etc., to allow its use in all markets. Different single-phase and three-phase voltage ranges are available, and frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz are available as required.

For export, the containers are not modified abroad; no holes are made, and no markings are added to comply with international export and import regulations. Once the container arrives at the installation site, it can then be painted in the desired color and logos or markings added. Éco-source prioritizes the design and manufacture of customized solutions, based on the needs, characteristics of the loads to be powered, and other requirements of the client or end user.

Connectivity and Monitoring

All these solutions integrate a sophisticated and reliable system for real-time monitoring of the system’s operating status, thanks to applications provided for this purpose by Éco-source. These applications can be installed on smartphones, laptops, or desktop computers, requiring only an internet connection to access the system from anywhere in the world, at any time.
